Year 4

Monday 1st June

For Maths today:

Task 1: Bronze, Silver, Gold Platinum sheets (you can do this in the back of your maths book). Remember that the Bronze is aimed at Year 4, Silver at Year 5 and Gold at Year 6 - the platinum is to really get you thinking!

Do what you can, but I'm not expecting everyone to do all the sheets.

Task 2: Today we're going to be looking at negative numbers.

Watch the video the video and then complete p7 from Year 4 Targeted Question Book.

For English today:

Over the next few weeks we will be looking at writing (and possibly videoing) an open letter about climate change. We'll start off by doing some research and finding out a bit more about it.

Watch the video lesson 'Lesson 1 Climate Change'

Task 1: Today, you'll be finding out about Greta Thunberg and what she has done about climate change. Read through the comprehension sheet and answer the questions in the front of your English book.

Complete the work in the front of your English books - remember to keep it neat!

Spanish Challenge

In this lesson, we will recap our previous learning and then learn how to say different emotions in Spanish. By the end of the lesson we will be able to say how we feel in Spanish!

I would like you to have a go at this at some stage this week. You can choose which day to do it on.

(The lesson is one from Oak National Academy)

Music Challenge

A bit of music again this week.

In this lesson, we are going tolearn a new song and find out about harmony. If you fancy a sing, give it a go!

Really look forward to seeing how you get on.
